At LiteVault, we respect your privacy. We only store the data necessary
purposes, however we do NOT use any third-party analytics on our website.
We do NOT share any of your personal data with third parties in any way, and
we also don't require you to provide any personal data for you to use the website.
Most operations of the wallet software have an optional requirement for personal
data such as your email, however this is only ever used to enhance the security of
your account, such as sending you login notifications, and verifying your identity
in the event you lose access to a 2 Factor Authenticator used on our service
When you create a LiteVault account, we store the following information in
Your random 32 character identifier
Your shared key generated by the server. This is also written to your encrypted wallet file when you first sign up. It is used as an internal proof of ownership by the software when writing to the wallet file on our server, as we DO NOT store your original password.
An encrypted (AES) version of your wallet
The IP address used to create the account (used primarily for security purposes, such as Geo-location to send alerts when you log in from a foreign location)
The last IP address you used to sign into your account (same reasons as above)
(future) A log of IP addresses, linked to date and time that tried to access your account. (same reasons as above)
The date and time you signed up (used for analysing the growth of our site, and security purposes in the event of a lost authenticator)
The last time your wallet data was updated (used for growth analysis, so that we know which users are active)
